A little over a year ago, I got curious about marketing.

Not the "10x your business overnight" kind.

The real stuff, you know what I mean?

Why do people buy one product over another?

Why do some brands become impossible to ignore while others disappear?

The more I learned, the more questions I had.

So I stopped just reading, and I started my our startup.

A few months later, I grew, and sold it.

It wasn't some massive exit for a million bucks, it was around $4,800, but it taught me something I couldn't have learned from a book.

Marketing only makes sense when you're the one trying to convince someone to care.

That's when every headline, landing page, email, and ad suddenly matters to you.

So why Momentum?

Because I'm still learning.

Every week, I write about something I've learned, tested, or just found interesting.

Sometimes it's a marketing campaign.

Sometimes it's an experiment, a successful one or a failed one.

Sometimes it's a mistake I made so you don't have to.

I'm not here to pretend I have all the answers and I know everything.

"The best way to understand something is to explain it." — Richard Feynman

I'm just documenting what I'm learning while trying to become a better marketer and builder of course.

If that helps you along the way, even better.

Welcome to Momentum.
